The Fc-like 6 receptor (FCRL6) is an inhibitory receptor expressed by cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and NK that binds to MHCII, is overexpressed in cancers and infections and may serve as a new immunotherapeutic target. This project proposes to study, molecularly and functionally, the FCRL6 and its ligands to understand its role in the pathogenic and oncological defense of the host, establishing the rabbit as an ideal translational model for immunological studies.
