The uniqueness of the Iberian wolf deserves attention in its management. Hybridization with dogs and wolves of other origins is expected in the current scenario of expansion of wolf populations. Our goal is to develop universal molecular tools to identify wolves and hybrids in non-invasive samples, and to contribute management guidelines and training to relevant actors. The experience of the team ensures the successful implementation of the proposal.
