Routine monitoring of water and ecosystem health is rare because the techniques available are expensive and complex. The SIGNAL team, with experience in producing new ecotoxicological and monitoring methods, will develop an innovative accessible application (TRL4-5) for this purpose, using Raman Spectroscopy in relevant biological models. The results will support pollution control, sustainability and the circular water economy.
