BioPorts aims to contribute to a new green strategy for the port and maritime transport sector, developing biotechnological solutions, integrating bioremediation and robotic systems, to address accidental and chronic pollution within ports. This concept is driven by the need of different maritime industries to seek more environmentally and economically efficient strategies to prevent and eliminate pollution.
