TextileWaVE is an initiative that brings together scientists, textile chain stakeholders (designers and clothing manufacturers) and waste managers with the purpose of implementing the organic recovery of cellulosic textile waste, listed and promoted by ecodesign principles. Optimised composting processes are envisaged for cellulosic textile waste and a compostability score that can be integrated into the digital product passport.
