It is urgent to know how recombinant adeno-associated viruses (rAAVs) respond within the intricate 3D human cellular environment of neuro-inflammatory diseases. We will develop innovative cellular and molecular tools to unravel the specific function of different types of immune cells and their interactions in the response to rAAVs. We will propose new targeted approaches to neutralize rAAV-induced neuroinflammation.
