The municipality of Loures, located in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon, has about 200,000 inhabitants and covers an area of 168 km2, with ten parishes. Loures faces educational challenges such as high school drop-out rates and population diversity. The Strategic Plan for Local Education (PEEL) aims to modernise infrastructure and promote social cohesion. Measures include multidisciplinary teams, hydrotherapy and music education. The aim is to promote
