Portugal is among the five largest wine producers in Europe, however the country's wine production faces serious vulnerabilities due to high solar radiation and high temperatures, associated with prolonged periods of drought. Given the increasing pressure of climate change, it is essential to ensure the quality and sustainability of the sector by identifying and implementing sustainable strategies.
