Atlantis II will create the Coastal Observatory of the North Atlantic of Portugal, consolidating coastal monitoring initiatives, through the implementation of a monitoring network up to 12 MN. The project will provide data for the management and conservation of marine ecosystems, enabling a response to human pressures and the effects of climate change, ensuring a balance between economic development and environmental conservation.
