The planned operation consists of a rehabilitation and enhancement of the banks of the river Cávado, through natural processes, and extends along the stretch, between the bridge of Fão and the marina area, where several hydromorphological and biological pressures resulting from the recurring floods, aggravated by the delivery of the waters of the Esposende Interceptor System in that place, in periods of greater rainfall.
