Introduction The Diocesan Caritas of Beja has played a crucial role in combating material deprivation and promoting social inclusion in five municipalities of the region (Beja, Ferreira do Alentejo, Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito). In this context, it proposes an operation that aligns with the objectives of the National Strategy for Combating Poverty and the National Strategy for Food and Nutrition Security, ensuring respect for human dignity and non-discrimination.
