Introduction The Diocesan Caritas of Beja, with an already consolidated role in combating material deprivation and promoting social inclusion, proposes to expand its activities to the municipalities of Castro Verde, Mértola, Ourique, Almodôvar and Aljustrel. This intervention comes as a response to the invitation of the District Center for Social Security of Beja, which identified the need to implement a measure that promotes food support and the strengthening of competencies.
