This project will eliminate capacity constraints in the Leixões Line infrastructure and enhance the operating conditions of the Port of Leixões, contributing to improving interoperability with the rest of the European network, allowing the movement of trains up to 750 meters, in order to enable efficient rail freight transport, enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the national economy.
