This is a phased application, corresponding to the completion of the 2nd phase of modernization of the Ovar-Gaia section, and aims to allow homogenizing the speeds allowed on the Northern Line and improve the levels of quality of service provided, with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of rail transport on regional, national and international connections. It will also make it possible to reduce the number of accidents.
