The MD SR is currently facing a number of challenges in managing master data. The resort has access to a large amount of critical data (such as citizens, vehicles, weapons, passports and others) stored in various information systems. These systems often operate in isolation, without centralised management, leading to a lack of harmonisation and difficulties in ensuring uniform data quality. This fragmented approach complicates the exchange of data between different institutions and departments, causing duplication and reducing efficiency. The MD SR does not currently have a fully functioning master data management platform that would ensure centralised data management, update and quality. There is a clear effort to build such a platform that would be able to manage and manage master data (e.g. addresses, personal data, vehicle data, EC, TK, etc.). That is why the MD SR has the ambition to solve these problems by creating a departmental data management platform of the MD SR. The aim of this platform is to ensure uniform and centralised management of data, its quality as well as interoperability between different systems within the State. Practice shows that high-quality data standards, together with effective tools to validate, clean and consolidate them, are essential to ensure that data is accurate and up-to-date. From a practical point of view, it is clear that if this departmental platform is successfully implemented, the MD SR will become the key administrator of one of the most important traffic data in the state. This will improve not only the quality of data, but also the efficiency of public services, giving Slovak citizens better and faster access to correct and up-to-date information. In addition, the centralisation of data management will allow for faster resolution and more efficient cross-departmental cooperation. In the submitted project, the MD SR has the ambition to implement the integration of the information system isvs_4867 JISCD into the CPDI IS as a provider of specific data in the MD administration and subsequently to implement the adjustment and development of the system at least in the scope according to point 4 of activity A1. A consolidated overview of the future situation from an integration perspective is shown in the table below. The Ministry is therefore visibly working to complete a modern platform for master data management, which would make not only internal processes more efficient, but also make data available to other departments and state institutions in accordance with the principles of data management and data interoperability.
