The main purpose of the project is to increase the level of information and cyber security at the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic (ÚV SR). The aim is to ensure the protection of data and electronic data used by organisations, employees and citizens, thereby increasing their trust in digital services provided by public administrations. The project is designed in accordance with the intervention strategy of the Slovakia 2021-2027 Programme and is aimed at achieving compliance with national and European legislation in the field of cybersecurity and information security. Improvement of the quality of the organization of cybersecurity and information security (KIB) Implementation of advanced security measures. Strengthening the organisational structure for the effective management of the KIB. Improvement of KIB risk management Implementation of systems to effectively identify, evaluate and manage risks. Implementation of regular audits and control mechanisms. Ensuring the security of the operation of information systems (IS) and networks Deployment of technologies to protect against cyber-attacks Improvement of network and communication security. Ensuring the continuity of IS operations of the operator of the basic service (OES) Establishment and maintenance of back-up systems and disaster recovery plans. Employee training for resolution. Preventive measures to reduce the likelihood of attacks. Strengthening defence mechanisms. Enhancing compliance with existing legislation Ensuring full compliance with the requirements of the Cybersecurity Act and the Information Technology Act in Public Administration. Regular updates and checks of compliance with legislative requirements. Increasing the level of cybersecurity and information security Improving the detection of and response to cyber incidents.
