Mapping and monitoring of cave habitats and software upgrade of the National Cave Database The purpose of the project is the monitoring and mapping of previously uncharted cave sites and the mapping of cave spaces as habitats of national/European importance. The place of implementation of the project is the territory of the whole of Slovakia, as there is a presumption of findings and occurrence in the localities of the whole of Slovakia. The expected result of the mapping is the documentation of at least 300 caves - localities and their registration in the National Caves Database (NDJ). The modernization of the NDJ will make the work easier for users - specialists of the museum both in the actual recording and for the needs of rapid processing of the required data by external researchers. It will also enable and streamline the management and processing of statistics of individual discoveries and the actual recording of caves.share on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
