New tram line in Petržalka, 2nd part Bosákova street – Janíkov dvor Phase II

The aim of the project is to improve the quality and attractiveness of public passenger transport in Bratislava and to increase the quality of services provided in public transport through the construction of a new tram line in the section Bosákova street - Janíkov dvor. The new tram line will be part of an integrated transport system for clean urban public transport. The implementation of the project will ensure: connecting the southern part of the Petržalka district with the Staré Mesto district, increasing the availability of tram transport in the Petržalka district, following the creation of new tram stops, expanding capacities and increasing the number of passengers using public transport, reducing travel time for people working and commuting to the city centre, increasing the overall level of service and quality of tram travel, reducing the negative environmental impacts of public passenger transport (noise, vibrations, environmental aspects), reducing the traffic load on road bridges caused by attracting passengers using bus and car transport.
