The NP has the ambition to create a comprehensive, nationwide network of PKPs (in the final number of 46) and to provide comprehensive free social, legal, economic and psychological counselling to individuals, couples and families and to carry out preventive activities. Its aim is to contribute to a systemic solution in the area of debt management, prevention of mental illnesses, strengthening of family relationships and intergenerational communication and solving problems in the family, marriage and interpersonal relationships. This will contribute to changing the overall living situation of vulnerable families in Slovakia, while in the long term it will have an impact on increasing the number of families and individuals who are able to solve their problems self-help and not fall back into crises and family breakdown.
