The purpose of the project is to create an efficient food aid redistribution system that will ensure that safe food is made available to people in need while contributing to reducing food waste. The aim is to build a stable infrastructure for the redistribution of food surpluses, thereby reducing food waste while at the same time supporting the resolution of hunger and poverty problems. The project has the ambition to bring about a systemic change that will improve the living standards of the Slovak population. Building a stable infrastructure for the redistribution of food surpluses will contribute to making safe and nutritionally valuable food available to people in need throughout Slovakia, including food deserts and hunger valleys.
