The proposed project Digital Transformation of the Municipality of Zitsa includes the creation of a Digital City Guide in order to create a central information and communication point of local businesses with the Municipality where the image of businesses is recorded in the services of the Municipality at the same time that businesses present either briefly or analytically their products and services with periodic update The creation of a Smart Pedestrian Crossing System which will ensure the safe passage of pedestrians in the intervention area through the automatic recognition of the presence of pedestrians and automatic light signage of the crossing where this is possible or in cooperation with the light signals The creation of an Electronic Management and Organization System of the Administration of the Municipality in order to set priorities for the most effective and easier handling of issues as well as the facilitation of staff and citizens The installation of Smart Energy Management Systems of municipal and school buildings With this online platform the Municipality will be able to monitor the electricity consumption related to road lighting the electrification of buildings the energy costs of pumping stations The installation of an Electronic Payment System in order to provide citizens and businesses with the ability to pay debts to the Municipality using credit or debit cards web banking but also with any modern payment method available
