This project concerns the monitoring of water quality in selected bathing beaches Aim to certify and maintain the excellent quality of the bathing waters of the Ionian Islands The monitoring programme includes, inter alia, the monthly sampling and analysis to check the microbiological quality of water during the bathing season May October and on-site visual inspection for any pollution problems The bathing beaches included in the programme as well as the results of the monitoring are posted on httpwwwbathingwaterprofilesgr as well as on a digital public information platform that will be created for this reason.
