The operation concerns the continuation of the operation of basic goods structures, namely Social Grocery and Social Pharmacy in the Municipality of Karditsa for a period of 26 months to 31122025 The aim of the structures is to ensure decent living conditions for peoplehouseholds in a state of poverty or threatened by poverty and residing in the intervention area in a way that ensures their equity and dignity.The Social Grocery will regularly distribute to beneficiaries in need food, grocery items, personal hygiene items, frozen clothing and footwear products, books, toys etc. The Social Pharmacy will provide to beneficiaries free medicines, sanitary material and parapharmaceutical products which it ensures through specific collaborations with pharmaceutical companies and local pharmaceutical associations, as well as through the participation and mobilisation of collective bodies of businesses and citizens.
