The proposed Act concerns the energy upgrade of the building complex of EPAL DK Polygyros The school complex is constructed on a privately owned plot of land of the Municipality of Polygyros and is of a total area of 314364m2 based on the declaration with AA 3237076 of N41782013 This building is the only school complex in which the units IEK EPAS SEK and EPAL are housed for the entire Kallikratis Municipality of Polygyros The school complex consists of the BUILDING 1 area BUILDING 218480sqm the BUILDING 2 area BUILDING 2 area BUILDING 2 area BUILDING 2 area BUILDING 3 area BUILDING 101470sqm More Details BUILDING 1 consists of ground floor area 80005sqm and semi-outdoor area total area 19793sqm 1st floor 67201sqm 2nd floor 67201sqm roof area 4073sqm and basement area 13189sqm BUILDING 2 consists of ground floor floor area 22618sqm and semi-outdoor space area 5862sqm BUILDING 3 consists of ground floor area 69750sqm with semi-outdoor area area 13646sqm and basement area 31720sqm In BUILDING 1 and 2 are developed the classrooms the auditorium and the offices of the teaching staff with the necessary auxiliary spaces In BUILDING 3 are housed the necessary laboratories for the operation of EPAL and IEK The energy inspection of the buildings of the complex showed that the energy consumption of the buildings is significant The buildings were classified energy during its energy inspections in category H The study proposes interventions for the energy upgrading of the buildings These include interventions in the building shell change of the thermal insulation of the facades and ceiling modification of the heating installation of the complex application of a hybrid system with boiler and air heat pump replacement boiler replacement of non-functional heating systems installation photovoltaic system and its interconnection with PPC for energy compensation, replacement of lighting fixtures and installation of an automatic heating control system.
