The Giannitsa Hospital Unit of GNPella, as a provider of secondary health care services and primary health care through the Regular and Emergency Outpatient Clinics, with this proposal, looks forward to the supply of medical equipment an investment that will improve health infrastructure and services, as well as this investment is partly necessary to effectively address the public health crisis in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak. Finally, this investment will contribute to national regional and local development by reducing inequalities in the health situation by promoting social inclusion through improved access for vulnerable social groups, taking into account that this equipment will provide services for which, under other circumstances, the citizens of the region should be directed to large urban centres such as Thessaloniki.
