The Act Supporting interventions of equal access for persons with disabilities and other special educational needs in Departments of the Agricultural University of Athens in the Region of Central Greece supports the work of the Equal Access Unit for persons with disabilities and persons with special educational needs of the AUA at local level and specifically in its academic units in Amfissa, Thebes and Karpenisi for interventions such as recording restrictions and obstacles for adjustments in courses and exams; facilitating mobility; enhancing e-accessibility; training and supporting staff; promoting volunteering; teleinterpreting in the Greek Sign Language for students with deafness or hearing loss; and producing accessible textbooks for students with disabilities.
