The project concerns the complete design and construction of the road bypass of Chalkida and bypass of Psachna with a total length of about 280 km The project includes the construction of the following sections of road section N Lampsakos Psachna with a length of about 170 km with its accompanying works main section b road section High Bridge of Nea Lampsakos with a length of about 4 km which is the connection of the AK Schimatari with Nea Lampsakos and is an option section Option 1c road section Bypass of Psachna is a continuation of the road section N Lampsakos Psachna with a length of about 4 km Option 2d the road section Connection artery of North South Evia that connects the Lianis Ammos junction of the road section N Lampsakos Psachna with the road network to southern Evia with a length of 24 km Option 3The project also includes all the required supporting actions expropriation relocations The project will be constructed in the Regional Unit of Evia of the Region of Central Greece With its completion it will contribute to the decongestion of the urban fabric of Chalkida of Artakis and Psachna from the passing traffic resulting in a positive impact on the environment and the economic development of the wider area It will also improve the connection of Athens with Chalkida and the artery of north-south Evia
