In the context of limiting the effects of climate change, the European Union has established targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This is why the European Strategy White Paper 2011 on transport has been issued. By 2050, among the main objectives of this strategy are the elimination of conventional cars in cities and the reduction of CO2 emissions by 60. With this project, the Region of Central Macedonia has already proceeded with the supply of 14 electric five-seater cars and will also proceed with the supply of two diesel vans with nine anti-pollution technology seats and 3 charging stations for electric cars.
