Reopening with new uses of the Old Acropolis Museum The Old Acropolis Museum PMA was founded in the SE of the Parthenon in 1865 and was completed in 1874 It is the first building in the modern Greek state that was built specifically for a simple and simple museum The building is stone-built simple without architectural decoration subtly subordinated to the architecture of the neighboring monuments In July 2007 the old Acropolis Museum closed its doors to the public in order for the exhibits to be dismantled and packaged for their transportation to the New Acropolis Museum The Athens City EFA in order to organize and protect the archaeological material that comes from the Acropolis and is stored in improperly housed or outdoor spaces and to improve access to it in order to maintain its design and maintenance plans the upgrade and reopening of the building of the Old Museum under the conditions of a modern museum space that will host temporary exhibitions unknown to date to the general public.
