The object of the Project is the financing of the KDIF of the Association for the Protection of Children and Disabled Persons in Rhodes for the provision of services to 40 persons with intellectual disability, which include both minors over 13 years of age and adults with priority to uninsured persons.With the implementation of the Project, the improvement of the quality of life of persons with intellectual disability in need of supportive services.The transition from institutional care to community-based care.The strengthening of social cohesion and the prevention of marginalization and social exclusion phenomena.The fight against discrimination and the promotion of equal opportunities.The services provided include the elaboration and implementation of an individualized care and rehabilitation education plan, education in social skills and in everyday life skills, the development of occupational skills, supportive and therapeutic interventions at individual and group level, the transfer of beneficiaries to the KDIF and their feeding, their participation in recreational cultural and sports activities, as well as the implementation of information and education actions of the community on issues related to disability and the fight against prejudices.
