In accordance with the Local Waste Management Plan of the Municipality of Preveza and the revised and approved Regional Waste Management Plan of Epirus, in order to achieve the recycling targets set by Law 40422012 and to promote the separate collection of waste, it is proposed to create a green point at municipal level where separately recyclable materials such as paper, metal, plastic and glass, green bulky WEEE and other items will be collected, as discussed below.
