The operation concerns the collection through a network of closed pipelines of urban wastewater from the settlements of Plakias, Asomatos, Lefkogeia, Myrthios, Marios and Sellia and from the areas of Souda and Damnoni to their concentration and transport to the new treatment facility and to the disposal of the effluent in part of the river Kotsifos after tertiary treatment.
