The object of the project is the energy upgrade of the building of the Ioannina Courthouse For this building, a combination of energy upgrade interventions has been proposed in accordance with the Energy Performance Certificate 993172021 05052021 that has been issued. The interventions that will be implemented in this building concern the placement of external thermal insulation in the building shell wall ceilings and floors exposed to outdoor air Replacement of frames without changing the openings Upgrading of the cooling heating systems of the building with the addition of a mechanical ventilation system and heat recovery from heat exchangers air-cooled water heat pump network of FCU terminal units, central air conditioning units for the courtrooms and waiting rooms on the ground floor and heat recovery exchangers for fresh air entry into the premises Replacement of lamps with new LED technology Installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof of the building Beyond the energy upgrade the project includes the necessary interventions for the renovation of the sanitary areas of the Ioannina Courthouse with the creation of two new sanitary spaces to serve people with disabilities on the ground floor and on the common floors.
