The project concerns the integrated urban development of the historical center of Patras and includes the Route 1 Walk of Archaeological Sites that connects the lower with the upper city through the central pedestrian street of Gerokostopoulou Street crossing the main part of the upper city with the integration of the most important Archaeological Sites Castle Ancient Odeon Roman Hippodrome The intervention area concerns a total area of approximately 170000 m2. In particular the project includes the reconstruction of vehicle traffic roads with asphalt carpet rebuilding of vehicle traffic roads with blocks reconstruction of pavements and construction of new pavements creation of a network of mild traffic roads and pedestrian regenerations in public squares road openings implementation of City Plan configuration of parking spaces etc.
