After the catastrophic floods natural disasters Ianos DANIEL and ELIAS it is considered to be extremely necessary to implement flood protection projects for the protection of the affected areas of the Municipality of MakrakomiThe proposed Act consists of 2 subprojects The subproject 1 entitled INTEGRATED FLOOR PROTECTION SPERCHIADA PALAIOVRACHAS is the main subproject of the Act while the subproject 2 entitled ARCHAEOLOGICAL INVESTIGATIONS AND WORKS concerns the archaeological monitoring services of the subproject 1The Act is considered to contribute significantly to the flood protection of the affected areas since a series of flood protection projects will be implemented in the areas of Sperchiada and Paleovracha.
