The main purpose of the operation is to contribute to the objectives of the European and national legislation of the ECHR and the PESDA for the separate collection of recyclable materials The operation includes the creation of the Green Point of PolygyrosThe benefits are mainly related to the environmental dimension and the cultivation of environmental awareness in the citizens The PESDA offers the possibility of separate collection of a series of materials that can be led to recycling or reuse The materials will be presented by the users with their own means and will be temporarily stored in means of collection of various characteristics The PES Polygyros will mainly serve the city of Polygyros It will have a storage capacity of 100 tons and will be able to receive up to 1200 tons of materials per year The creation of the PES Polygyros includes the construction of infrastructure projects the supply of the necessary equipment for its operation such as storage means and equipment for the management of materials and the connection of the PES with the public utility networks
