It concerns the second phase of a departmental act which includes the construction of a two-storey school building complex on a municipal plot at the entrance of the settlement of Ierissos in the Municipality of Aristotle Chalkidiki according to the morphological characteristics of the architecture of Mount Athos total building of about 1924 sqm and the configuration of the surrounding area of about 7976 sqm The school complex will house the Aristotle General Lyceum of Ierissos and aims to serve the needs of the student population Secondary education of the settlements of the Municipal Unit of Stagira Akanthos The design of the building incorporates principles and elements of bioclimatic design while care has been taken to ensure the accessibility of people with special needs of people with disabilities The Aristotle General Lyceum of Ierissos is currently housed with the Gymnasium of Ierissos with the result that the classrooms are not sufficient for both school units The construction of this school is necessary for the proper operation of the 2 levels of education and for the upgrading of the quality of the education services provided.
