The operation concernsA The establishment and operation of a Green Point in the Municipality of Trikala at the site of NISI in the Rizari district of Trikala next to the existing facilities of the Trikala wastewater biological treatment plant and at the Trikala SMA Waste Transfer Station on a total area of 112 km2 that will cover as many types of solid waste as possible The Green Point will be equipped with a bulky shredderB In the development of a home composting program for the management of biowaste in households These bins will be distributed as a priority to households with homes with a garden to citizens who are systematically engaged in the management of their garden as well as to households who will express interest in participating in the C programme. The development and implementation of two parallel sub-systems of sorting networks at the source of biowaste food stream and green stream with a new network of coffee bins and with appropriate mechanical equipment for their collection and transport to the Recovery Unit and Recycling RRF of Western ThessalyIt also includes technical support to the Municipality of Trikala for the implementation of the program of separate sorting at the source of bio-waste and the program of home composting in the first year of operation of the programs
