The Action is addressed to a total number of 400 unemployed people in the South Aegean Region as one of the areas of intervention of DAM and concerns the provision of vocational counselling services b continuing vocational training in specialized skills related to Tourism and the Green and Blue Economy green and blue skills respectively and c certification of the acquired knowledge and skills of the beneficiaries The combination of these complementary actions aims to upgrade and update the knowledge and skills of the beneficiaries to adapt to the new development requirements of various cutting-edge sectors of the economy with emphasis on those of the Green and Blue Economy to improve their employability and their integration into the labour market, to support the unemployed in the South Aegean Region in strengthening their knowledge and skills and to certify specialized professional qualifications that utilize specialized green and blue skills The increase in the employability of the beneficiaries with the direct consequence of reducing unemployment rates, promoting social cohesion and facilitating the social integration of the unemployed in the South Aegean Region as an area affected by the energy transition
