In order to support the organization and operation of the Strategic Planning Unit of the University of the Aegean, in accordance with the requirements of the institutional framework of the National Strategy for Higher Education as regards the strategic planning of HEIs, the specifications of the National Strategic Planning Unit of the University of the Aegean and the specificities arising from the administrative structure of the University of the Aegean due to its polyhedral and polynesian character, to draw up a strategic plan for its academic development in the European and international area, the University of the Aegean will implement the Operation Strategic Planning Unit of the University of the Aegean, which aims at the systematized operation of the Strategic Planning Unit, utilizing optimal procedures by preparing studies and analyzing quality data for the preparation of a strategic plan for the academic development of the University of the Aegean and its individual academic and support units and services, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Unit of the Foundation and the National Higher Education Authority. the criteria of quality and effectiveness of higher education developed within the framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) with the ultimate aim of improving the quality of teaching and learning and promoting the overall educational experience of students of the Foundation;
