The building that houses the Municipal Library of Patras was founded in 1933 and the project concerns the Static Rehabilitation, the Functional Redeployment, new Electromechanical installations and the Energy Upgrading of the WC. On the ground floor are located new Children's Library and creative workshops for children a Multipurpose Room and a Refreshment Shop with views on Maizonos In the middle floor of the ground floor are placed storage and auxiliary spaces as well as the Library Archive On the first floor are located the Reading Room of the Library with the perimeter loft of the Reading Room in which will be placed additional libraries the part of the Lending Library and the Computer room with two chambers of Audiovisual Material. All auxiliary areas of the building will be reconstructed and the building will be generally accessible to people with disabilities or even hindered persons The electromechanical restoration works of the building include the complete construction and installation of new necessary networks and infrastructure.
