The operation involves the replacement of existing lamps and lighting fixtures with new LED technology including a remote management system The intervention area concerns the common areas and streets in the urban fabric of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa and specifically in the city of Igoumenitsa and the adjacent settlements of Nea Seleucia, Ladochori and Graikochori The replacement of lighting fixtures will offer the Municipality savings of about 70 tonnes of CO2 equivalent and the corresponding environmental burden of light pollution and environmental pollution due to the deposition of damaged conventional lamps and the improvement of lighting conditions and the aesthetic image of the urban fabric of the city, thus increasing the feeling of safety of residents and visitors and increasing the attractiveness of the area.
