The General Hospital of Lemnos Health Center began to be built in 1928 and was completed in 1934 when it began to fully offer its services to the residents of Lemnos and Agios Efstratios In 1996 the construction of the General Wing of the Hospital began, which was completed in 2000 The total area of the building amounts to 12000 sqm The hospital of Lemnos is one of the main pillars related to the development of the local community and the well-being of the residents of the island Today the Hospital has 80 developed beds and is staffed by 31 medical staff 110 nursing staff while the total staff is 225 employees The existence of modern infrastructure is a sine qua non condition for the improvement of the services provided, the increase of life expectancy and the overall well-being of the residents of our remote island. The proposal of the Hospital concerns the following: the energy upgrade of the buildings of the hospital building B building of the EKAV and building C the repair and restoration of the old building and electromechanical installations; the active and passive fire protection of the hospital buildings; the strengthening of the hospital's slope.
