The operation concerns the important burial tomb of Mikri Doxipara Zone located near the villages Mikri Doxipara Zone and Chelidona of N Evros, which had a diameter of 60m and a height of 750m and had been constructed on a natural hill During the excavation of the tomb four burials were revealed, burning five carriages and two burials of horses were also found, square epitaph altars made of bricks with the parallel existence of ashes and bones from animal sacrifices, fragments of clay vessels etc. The burials are dated in the beginning of the 2nd century AD and upon completion of the project this unique find will be attributed to the general public accessible and fully highlighted. and the Directorate for the Conservation of Ancient and Modern Monuments respectively, while the tender process for Subproject 2 was completed by the Directorate for the Studies and Execution of Works of Museums and Cultural Buildings.
