Actions to prevent the recovery of food waste in the catering sector and the development of a campaign to raise awareness of the prevention of the generation and sorting at source of bio-waste The proposal entitled ACTIONS FOR THE PREVENTION OF FOOD WASTE PREVENTION IN THE FIELD OF FOCUS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CAMPAIGN FOR THE INFORMATION AWARENESS IN PREVENTION AND DIALOGUE IN THE SOURCE OF BIOWASTE consists of 4 Subprojects with Beneficiaries the Special Account for Research Grants ELKE of Harokopio University the Municipality of Kallithea and the Association of Municipalities of South Attica SYDNA Subprojects 1 and 4 are the main of the 4 total subprojects of the proposal Subproject 1 is an integrated action that aims to contribute to the European and National objectives for the recording of the prevention and separate collection of food waste The design of the action is based on 4 sub-pillars a the recording of waste quantities the development of a guide to actions for the reduction of food waste in catering areas c the promotion and facilitation of the redistribution of excess meals from catering establishments and d the awareness of catering establishments and citizens for the prevention and separate collection of food waste.
