The archaeological site of Eretria is the most important archaeological site of Evia as many years of excavations that have taken place in the area have brought to light important buildings and architectural ensembles of the public and private life of the ancient city which are preserved visible in sites owned by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, constituting a unique archaeological ensemble and a living museum.
