Organization and preparation of a re-exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Komotini Creation of a temporary exhibition of Roman Komotini

The Archaeological Museum of Komotini is the work of the internationally acclaimed architect Aris Konstantinidis 19131993 and is considered as one of the most important and interesting examples of public space architecture With the Act Organization and preparation of a re-exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Komotini Creation of a temporary exhibition Roman Komotini will be prepared the necessary studies for the renovation of the museum and the re-exhibition of its ancient objects and also a part of the ancient objects that will be included in the new exhibition will be preserved and the necessary works for the readiness to start the renovation works of the building and the organization of the re-exhibition of the Museum will be organized and will operate a temporary exhibition entitled Roman Komotini with main exhibits a marble sarcophagus with depictions of labors of Hercules and five milodices of the ancient Egnatian road found in Komotini and Aetolofos. and will be open to the public even during the period when the museum will remain closed due to the repair and renovation worksAn open conference titled Roman Komotini Sarkofagos and miles will be addressed to both the scientific public and the students of departments of the DUTH Department of HistoryEthnology or Black Sea and the general public of the cityIn the design of the Act, care has been taken for the information and accessibility of visitors of all ages including people with disabilities Especially it is going to be printed informational forms and put signs in Braille script while the educational and communication character of the exhibition will be enhanced by the implementation of educational programs for school and family groups and the organization of a conference which will be addressed to both the scientific and the general public
