The objective of the Project is to strengthen the operational set-up of the Equivalent Access Unit for persons with disabilities and persons with special educational needs at the University of the Aegean in the Region of North Aegean, to identify and develop personal Assistive Technologies for students with disabilities and special educational needs, to train staff of academic administrative librarians and volunteer fellow students to support students with disabilities and special educational needs, to support students with deafness or hearing loss and inability to move to and from the University premises, to produce and process existing educational material in appropriate formats for students with disabilities.
