CREATION OF VISITABLE ENVIRONMENTAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL COUNTRIES IN ALONNISOS AND WESTERN PAGASITIKO The project concerns the creation for the first time in Greece and the rendering to the diving public of four Visitable Underwater Archaeological Sites in the Western Pagasitikos and Northern Sporades and in particular the underwater antiquities of a shipwreck of the Classical period in Peristera of Alonissos shipwreck of the Late Roman period in the Telegraph of Sourpi Islands and shipwrecks of the Byzantine years in the Glaros Islands and in Kikinthos Amaliapolis At the same time, it is foreseen to produce the applications and the supervisory material with which the underwater archaeological wealth of the area will be documented and highlighted in the two Public Awareness and Information Centers in the Municipality of Alonissos and the Municipality of Almyros which will be implemented through other acts. Antiquities will be carved and marked underwater routes will be placed underwater for diving boats and a monitoring system for the safety of the EEX.
