Restoration I of the Church of Agios Nikolaos in Nafplio Regional Unit of Argolida The church of Agios Nikolaos is located in the center of the city of Nafplio and is declared as a historical listed monument The initial phase of the church that concerns the foundation and the lower zone of the walls dates back to 1713 while the second main phase of the church from its typological construction and its morphological elements seems to be a reconstruction work in place of the older church and dates back to 1836. During the interwar period the church was probably remodeled around 1932 to receive the characteristic classic neo-Byzantine features of today's facades.
